Dustin Ross Iverson, 29, formerly of Oak Grove, died August 3, 2016, at his home in Cullman, AL. Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Dr. George Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Trae Norrell of Grace Chapel officiating.
Mr. Iverson was a graduate of Oak Grove High School. He served in the MS Army National Guard with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church but attended Grace Chapel in Cullman. He was a member of Lacy Kelly VFW Post 3036 and worked as a surveyor.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rodrick Iverson and Virgil Boone.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Mary Ann Iverson of Oak Grove; sisters, Amber Iverson Williams (Chris) of Petal and Jennifer Iverson Shemper (Zach) of Shreveport, LA; grandparents, Eula Iverson of Mandan, ND and Ellen Rosetta Boone of Picayune; and nieces and nephews, Hope, Axxon, Ella Rose and Evelyn Raine.
